This site is labeled clearly and pretty easy to navigate. It has tons of resources that are geared towards parents. From entertaining therapy activities, to information to help parents know how to move forward, this site has lots of tips and resources to help families.
This website is created by a Speech Language Pathologist named Katie. She has 4 children of her own. The goal of this website in her words is "to provide my readers with insightful, relevant, and helpful information that can be applied in daily life to help parents (and professionals!) connect with the children in their lives & help them thrive." There's lots of different subjects on this website that can be useful to parents and instructors alike.
Child Development is an interesting subject that has an entire tab on this site. In one section she starts at a child's birth and continues till the age of 5. Knowing what to expect from a child at various ages can help someone know where a child should be at. It can also help create a gauge of what help they might need. A great way to build language skills is playing with children! This section even has toy suggestions that can help build a child's language skills!
The Speech Therapy tab has information about how to help a child talk, what to expect from therapy as a parent, and ways to find a SLP. There's therapy activities and charts to help track progress.
